Accessibility
You like modern art? wants this site to work for everyone. We are a new, small gallery, and we are building the site with that goal in mind rather than claiming it is finished.
What we do
The site is built with semantic HTML and page landmarks, so it can be read with a keyboard and a screen reader. A skip-to-content link starts each page. Every artwork image carries descriptive alternative text composed from the work title, medium, and dimensions. Interactive controls show a visible focus outline, and text is set for a comfortable reading measure.
The image lightbox can be opened, closed, and stepped through with the keyboard. If you prefer reduced motion, the home slideshow stops advancing on its own and background movement is turned off, following your system setting.
What is still in progress
We have not completed a formal WCAG audit, and some areas will improve as the site grows. If you run into a barrier, we want to know.
Tell us
If any part of the site is hard to use, please reach us through the contact page and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
